To begin, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Sabrecat, though some may know me as Dodge from long ago. I’m a 30-year-old over-the-road truck driver, Air Force veteran and long-time computer & video game nerd.
In the early-to-mid 2000s, a man by the name of Adam began Atom-Bomb.net, which became home to all things Internet Relay Chat (IRC), and the science and experimentation behind it.
Today, though I’ve since lost contact with Adam, my passion for IRC and random experiments have not dwindled.
I recently noticed that this domain was available, and in the spirit of my teenage years, I decided to pick up the domain and make something of it again, and hopefully people will find it useful/entertaining/interesting once everything is all set up.
This domain will be the home of IRC again, along with a heap of other interesting things. There will be a set of forums hosted here, as well as a Wikipedia to cover topics regarding the IRC network as well as some topics about some of the games my buddies and I play (EVE Online, Rocket League, Robocraft, Tabletop Simulator, Flight Simulator, Minecraft, just to name a few).
I also plan to host a blog, showcasing some of the places I go across this great nation of ours as a truck driver. I’d like a place to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of some of my days out here on the road.
Adam, if you’re out there old friend, I hope this message finds you well and know that I’d love to reconnect with you after all these years! If you can remember it, my old atom-bomb.net email address will work 😉 Feel free to shoot me a message sometime!
